ONE ON ONE FROM DAD TO SON
Lessons in Basketball and Discipline

One on One from Dad to Son is a story about a father and son becoming closer to each other as the father teaches his son about basketball.

Dwayne shows his son DJ how to handle the ball, throw, and dribble. But, there is more to the story than playing basketball. Dwayne tells his son about how these players succeeded through hard work and discipline. Dwayne learned from their example, and he wants his son to learn from it, too.

Dwayne was a very good player in high school and college, but he didn’t become a pro basketball player. Very few players do. But, the lessons he learned from basketball – practice, discipline, team work – have stayed with him his whole life.
